Discovering Corvara
Located at the foot of the impressive Sassongher, Corvara is the beating heart of Alta Badia and the oldest tourist center in the valley. Since the 18th century, this charming alpine village has captivated visitors with its breathtaking landscapes and authentic Ladin atmosphere. In 1946, the first chairlift in Italy was built right in Corvara, marking the beginning of a long tradition of mountain tourism.

Alpine skiing takes center stage thanks to the slopes of the Ski Area Alta Badia and the direct connection to the famous Sellaronda, a ski route that crosses four Dolomite passes in a single day. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can explore scenic trails through snow-covered forests, including the famous route to the stunning Pisciadù waterfall.
With the arrival of summer, Corvara transforms into a paradise for hikers, bikers, and golfers.
