Discovering Untere Weisszintscharte

Located at an altitude of 2,974 meters in the Zillertal Alps, the Untere Weisszintscharte is a spectacular Alpine saddle connecting the Hochfeilerhütte and the Edelrauthütte along the renowned Pfunderer Höhenweg trail. This rocky pass, nestled between majestic peaks like the Hoher Weißzint and Hochfeiler, offers an immersive hiking experience through glacial landscapes and breathtaking views.

The traverse is accessible from Mühlwald and requires good physical preparation, with sections across glaciers, moraines, and high-altitude paths.
