Discovering Faloria
Faloria is located just above Cortina d’Ampezzo, and its summit is easily accessible via the historic Faloria cable car, which offers spectacular views over the Ampezzo basin and the surrounding peaks, including the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Monte Cristallo, and the Tofane.
In winter, Faloria is part of the prestigious Cortina ski area, featuring over 30 km of ski slopes, perfectly groomed trails, ideal for both expert skiers and beginners. The area is renowned for hosting international competitions such as the Alpine Ski World Cup and for being a key venue during the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina, an event that left a lasting mark on the sporting and cultural history of the valley.
