Forcella della Fossa is a high-altitude hiking destination nestled between the Braies Dolomites and the Rieserferner Group, in the heart of the Antholz Valley, perfect for lovers of panoramic trekking and untouched nature.

Located in the municipality of Rasen-Antholz, the pass is accessible via demanding trails such as the loop from St. Magdalena in Gsies or from Obertal-Antholz, crossing alpine huts, larch forests, and high mountain pastures. The route offers breathtaking views of the Lake Antholz, the Rote Wand, and the surrounding peaks of the Rieserferner Group, making it ideal for experienced hikers and nature photographers.
