Discovering Castelfondo

Nestled in the upper Val di Non at an altitude of 948 meters, the village of Castelfondo (TN) is a charming tourist destination that blends rustic elegance with timeless appeal. Here, history, nature, and tradition come together in perfect harmony. Once known as Castrum Fundi, the village has Roman origins and retained a strategic role over the centuries, becoming the seat of the Anaunia judiciary during the Middle Ages.

Among the most notable buildings are Casa Lorenzetti and Casa Dalla Chiesa, which houses a precious 15th-century crucifix. Nearby, visitors can also discover Monte Ozolo, the Novello gorges, and the picturesque village of Fondo.
