Discovering Dambel

Dambel, a small village in the Val di Non, is an authentic destination for holidays among apple orchards, forests, and panoramic views of the Brenta Dolomites. Located at 750 meters on a sunny plateau, it offers easy trails and scenic tours, perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

The natural highlight is the Parco Fluviale Novella, a spectacular canyon with gorges, suspended walkways, and guided tours that reveal unique geological formations and remarkable biodiversity. This immersive experience is suitable even for beginners. Not to be missed is the Lez di Dambel, an ancient irrigation channel path dating back to 1804, which connects Dambel to Fondo through wooden bridges, forests, and panoramic viewpoints equipped with benches.

On the hill above the village stands the Church of the Assumption (1537), traditionally linked to an ancient temple dedicated to Saturn, located on the “Dos dei Sadorni.” From here, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Third Shore of the Lake of Santa Giustina, the large reservoir that defines the Val di Non landscape. Also worth visiting is the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows (17th century), in the hamlet of Villa di Dambel.

The surroundings offer numerous hiking and biking trails connecting nearby villages such as Cloz and Romallo, with routes leading to the San Romedio Sanctuary and other local canyons highlighted on major outdoor platforms.
