Discovering Mezzolombardo

Mezzolombardo (locally known as Mezombart) is a town in the autonomous province of Trentino, with around 7,700 inhabitants. It lies in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana, one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions, framed by the dramatic cliffs of the Paganella and Monte Fausior. This is where nature, flavours, and culture come together in perfect harmony.

Its historic centre is full of ancient buildings, hidden courtyards, and stone portals, bearing witness to a rich past. Above the town stands the church of San Pietro, a former medieval parish church with stunning views over the valley.

Mezzolombardo is renowned for the Teroldego Rotaliano, a native red wine known as the "prince of Trentino reds". Many local wineries welcome guests for tastings and guided tours, offering a true taste of the region.

Thanks to its strategic location, it’s also a great base for outdoor activities: with bike paths, nature trails, and easy access to nearby valleys, it’s perfect for exploring Trentino. Easily reached by car or train, Mezzolombardo offers an authentic experience of hospitality, scenery, and flavour.
