Discovering Revò

Revò, a charming village in the municipality of Novella, lies in the heart of the Val di Non in Western Trentino, offering a perfect blend of nature, culture, and tradition. Perched on the panoramic Third Anaunic Shore, overlooking the scenic Lake Santa Giustina, Revò is surrounded by apple orchards, vineyards, and the majestic peaks of the Maddalene Mountain Group.

With prehistoric roots dating back to the Copper and Iron Ages, Revò is home to one of the most important archaeological sites in the valley: the Monte Ozol hillfort, a key settlement from the Iron Age. The historic center features noble residences such as Casa Thun and Villa Campia-Maffei, reflecting the village’s former prestige.

The monumental Parish Church of Saint Stephen, first mentioned in 1128 and expanded in the 18th century, is one of the architectural symbols of the Val di Non, boasting baroque altars, frescoes, and a bell tower that dominates the landscape. Nearby, the Rhaetian Museum offers a fascinating journey through Alpine history with artifacts and multimedia exhibits.

Revò is also renowned for its agricultural excellence: it is one of the birthplaces of the Val di Non PDO Apple, celebrated in local festivals, food events, and culinary trails. Outdoor enthusiasts can explore trails leading to Lake Tret, Palade Pass, and the Maddalene Mountains, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing.
