Forcoletta di Jon (2,339 m), known as "the borders," marks the boundary between San Lorenzo in Banale, Stenico, and Dorsino in the stunning Val di Jon. Accessible via SAT trail 349 from Ponte di Baesa, this hiking destination offers an authentic experience among wild nature and breathtaking views of the Brenta Dolomites.

The 16 km trek with 1,400 m elevation gain crosses the traditional Masi Jon and the ruins of Malga Binasia di Andogno (1,401 m), continuing to Lake Asbelz and Malga Asbelz (1,946 m). The route follows the Jon Stream bed through high-altitude pastures frequented by grazing cattle and wild mouflon.

From the pass, you can hear the sounds of Val d'Algone, testifying to the strategic position of this rocky gap. Val di Jon represents one of Trentino's wildest mountain excursions, ideal for experienced hikers seeking authentic adventures away from mass tourism.
