Discovering Strembo

Located in the north-west of Trentino, in the lush Val Rendena, Strembo is a small village with ancient origins, dating back to at least the 14th century, characterized by steep streets and spacious Judicaries-style houses that reflect the history of the valley. Surrounded by imposing mountains such as the Adamello, the Presanella, and the Brenta Dolomites, Strembo offers a perfect balance of nature, sports, and culture. The Church of San Tommaso, of medieval origin, houses a beautiful altarpiece and is one of the main historical monuments of the village.

The village is immersed in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, the largest protected area in Trentino, attracting hiking enthusiasts, mountain bikers, and nature lovers every year. The park’s trails allow visitors to explore forests, pastures, lakes, and a rich biodiversity, offering experiences suitable for all levels. The area also provides opportunities for outdoor sports: tennis on the court managed by the Pro Loco, fishing in the Sarca River, and golf at the Golf Club Rendena, set amidst nature between Strembo, Bocenago, and Caderzone.

For cycling enthusiasts and families, the bike path along the Sarca River connects Villa Rendena to Carisolo, passing through Strembo, offering an easy and scenic route perfect for a green excursion. Cultural and sporting events, such as the famous 24 Ore Val Rendena, also animate the village, engaging both visitors and locals.

Strembo is therefore an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation in nature, outdoor sports, local history, and authentic experiences in one of the most beautiful valleys of Trentino, surrounded by mountains, forests, and centuries-old traditions.
