Discovering Ponte Arche

Ponte Arche, a hamlet of the municipality of Comano Terme, is a charming destination nestled between the Brenta Dolomites and Lake Garda. Located at 400 meters above sea level, it serves as the economic and social center of the Giudicarie Esteriori, and is a key hub for thermal tourism, outdoor activities and cultural experiences in western Trentino.

The Comano Thermal Park is the green heart of the area: 14 hectares of lush nature surrounding one of Europe’s most renowned thermal centers for natural skin care. The Comano thermal water, recommended for both adults and children, flows pure and beneficial, and the park offers wellness trails, relaxation areas and open-air activities.

Ponte Arche is also a strategic starting point for excursions to Monte Casale, offering breathtaking views of seven alpine lakes and the peaks of the Brenta Group and Adamello-Presanella. The Bleggio Plateau, with its historic villages and rural landscapes, enriches the natural appeal of the region.

On the cultural side, the area preserves architectural gems such as the Church of San Felice, surrounded by cornfields in the village of Bono, and the Chapel of the Madonna del Rosario, located within the thermal park. The name Ponte Arche comes from the historic bridge over the Sarca River, documented as early as the 16th century and rebuilt in 1850 as the Bridge of the Three Arches.

Ponte Arche is an ideal destination for those seeking wellness, nature and culture in an authentic alpine setting.
