Discovering Riva del Garda

Riva del Garda, a charming town on the northern shore of Lake Garda, enchants visitors with its mild climate, the beauty of its historic center, breathtaking natural landscapes, and countless outdoor activities. Surrounded by Monte Brione and a picturesque gulf, it is easily accessible from the A22 motorway (Rovereto exit) and is one of the most loved destinations in Garda Trentino.

Riva is a true paradise for active holidays: sailing, windsurfing, mountain biking, climbing, trekking, and nordic walking all find their perfect setting here. Thanks to regular winds like the Ora del Garda, water sports are always an option. For those seeking a more relaxed pace, there are wide sunny beaches, cultural events, live music, and lakeside promenades, such as the one from Riva to Torbole.

Nature lovers can discover the Monte Brione biotope, the spectacular Varone Waterfall, or enjoy themed hikes like the Trekking of Energy, the Trekking of Wonders, and the Trekking of History. Cyclists can ride routes from the valley floor up to peaks over 2,000 meters, including the trail to Lake Tenno.
