Discovering Centa San Nicolò

Nestled in the authenticity of the Vigolana Plateau, Centa San Nicolò (Zénta in Trentino dialect, Tschint in Cimbrian) is a small gem of the Trentino mountains. With about 600 inhabitants, it consists of a series of masi and hamlets spread across the eastern slopes of the Vigolana. These ancient masi, guardians of rural traditions and history, are today one of the main attractions for visitors.

A major highlight is the Centa River Park, where water once powered mills and sawmills. The restoration of these sites allows visitors to discover the memory of everyday life and immerse themselves in the region’s folk culture.

The Centa River also offers a wild and enchanting environment: along its course you will find white gravel beaches and the spectacular Valimpach Waterfall, perfect for photography and moments of relaxation in nature.
