Discovering Vignola-Falesina

Vignola-Falesina, a small scattered municipality in the Autonomous Province of Trento, brings together the two charming villages of Vignola and Falesina, nestled in the unspoiled nature of the Valsugana. With around 215 inhabitants, it’s an ideal destination for those seeking peace, alpine landscapes, and authentic traditions, far from mass tourism.

Located near the Vigolana and Lagorai mountain groups, the area offers scenic trails perfect for hiking, trekking, and mountain biking. Surrounded by larch forests, alpine meadows, and traditional mountain farms, it provides a genuine and rejuvenating atmosphere. Nearby, you can reach Forte Busa Grande, Pizzo di Levico, and Rifugio Panarotta, with breathtaking views over the valley.

Once linked to the culture of the Canòpi, German-speaking miners, the village preserves historical and architectural traces of a rich past. After being merged with Pergine Valsugana in 1928, it regained autonomy in 1955, reaffirming its unique identity.

In winter, Vignola-Falesina is a perfect base for snow sports thanks to its proximity to the ski resorts of Panarotta and the Valsugana, ideal for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. The traditional architecture and warm hospitality make every season special.
