Discovering Lago di Serraia

Located at 974 meters above sea level in the municipality of Baselga di Piné, Lake Serraia is one of the most beloved destinations in Trentino for holidays focused on wellness, outdoor activities, and nature. This swimmable alpine lake, awarded the Blue Flag for water quality and services, is surrounded by woods, meadows, and reed beds, offering an ideal setting for families, hikers, and sports enthusiasts.

The popular “lake loop” is a flat, accessible walking path of about 4 km, perfect for strolls, jogging, and cycling. The trail connects Lake Serraia to the nearby Lake Piazze, forming one of the most scenic nature routes on the Piné Plateau.

In summer, the lake comes alive with activities like SUP, canoeing, pedal boats, and the spectacular Dragon Boat, organized by the local association ADS Dragonboat Piné. Equipped beaches, playgrounds, and refreshment areas with local products make it a perfect spot for a day outdoors.

In winter, the lake freezes over and becomes a magical setting for ice skating and snowy walks. Each season brings its own colors and atmosphere, making Lake Serraia a destination to enjoy all year round.
