Discovering St. Leonhard in Passeier

Nestled in the heart of South Tyrol, St. Leonhard in Passeier is the main village of the Passiria Valley, located within the scenic Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park. Sitting at 689 meters above sea level, this alpine gem is renowned as the birthplace of Tyrolean freedom fighter Andreas Hofer, whose legacy lives on at the MuseumPasseier, housed in his former residence, and at nearby Giovo Castle, a historic fortress overlooking the valley.
