Discovering Partschins

Parcines and its hamlets Rablà and Tel welcome you just a few kilometers from Merano, nestled in the pristine beauty of the Tessa Group and at the gates of the largest Natural Park in South Tyrol. Among them, the Merano High Route offers a circular trail of about 100 km around the Tessa Group, while the Sopranes Lakes, high-altitude lakes with extraordinary colors, offer unforgettable views in a nearly magical setting. Cultural paths are also available, such as the Parcines Historical-Cultural Trail, which tells legends and traditions among ancient settlements and places of worship.

Parcines also amazes with attractions for young and old: the Typewriter Museum honors Peter Mitterhofer, the inventor from the town, with over 1,200 historic pieces, while in Rablà, Mondotreno, the largest private model train collection in Italy, fascinates with more than 20,000 pieces across three floors.
