Discovering Nomi

Nomi is a small village in Vallagarina, Trentino, located on the right bank of the Adige River at the foot of Monte Corona. First mentioned in 1188 as “de Nomio,” the town preserves a rural and authentic character, surrounded by vineyards, orchards and dry-stone walls that reflect its agricultural heritage.

The historic center of Nomi is built around the Palazzo Vecchio, a 15th-century fortified residence. Nearby, you’ll find traditional farmhouses with wooden balconies, votive frescoes and stone portals that evoke the feudal past of the region. A must-see is the Church of the Madonna della Consolazione, built between 1858 and 1895, featuring works of art and a Baroque altar by Domenico Sartori.
