Discovering Arsiè
Arsiè is a peaceful mountain village situated in the far southwest of the Province of Belluno, bordering Trentino, nestled between the last Dolomite foothills and the first pre-Alpine hills. Set within a landscape of rare beauty, Arsiè serves as the gateway to the Feltrina Basin and a strategic point for those looking to explore the Vanoi Valley, the Primiero Valley, and Monte Grappa.
The jewel of the area is undoubtedly Lago del Corlo, often dubbed the “little Venetian fjord” for its elongated shape and jagged shores framed by forests and rocky cliffs. Created by a dam on the Cismon stream in the 1950s, Lago del Corlo offers an ideal setting for those who cherish nature and peace. In summer, it’s perfect for swimming, kayak excursions, or leisurely walks along its shores, where time seems to flow more slowly.
The village of Arsiè still preserves an authentic charm, with small churches, ancient hamlets, and panoramic views.
