Discovering Appiano

Located in the heart of the Oltradige region, just a few kilometers from Bolzano, Appiano on the South Tyrolean Wine Road is one of the most charming destinations in South Tyrol. Surrounded by vineyards, apple orchards, and forests, it’s known as the “land of castles, lakes, and wine,” with over 180 historic residences and fortresses, including Hocheppan Castle, Boymont Castle, and Corba Castle, set in fairytale landscapes.
