Passo Croce d’Aune is a mountain pass in the Dolomiti Bellunesi, renowned for its natural beauty, cycling heritage, and privileged access to the National Park. It’s an ideal destination for hikers, cyclists, and lovers of authentic mountain experiences.


Located at 1,011 meters above sea level, the pass connects Pedavena to the Sovramonte plateau, offering breathtaking views of the Vette Feltrine and Monte Avena. It’s famous for the 1924 episode involving Tullio Campagnolo, who here conceived the quick-release mechanism that revolutionized cycling. Today, it’s an iconic stop on the Giro d’Italia and a coveted challenge for cycle tourists.
